We started learning about is Use It or Lose It from God? In the parable of the Talents, the person that would not use their talent lost it and it was given to the person who used their talents. Do you have abilities, money or anything else God has given you that you are not using for God? What might your life be like if God was to remove it? What would you life be like if God was to add to your life?
What about everything belongs to God, God has loaned you what you have, its wrong to not use what you have, and if you don't use it you will lose it.
I have had a couple faith questions asked this week. If you could post those here we can receive more answers and help more people.

You said in your sermon, about Faith, If you lose faith, it is a sin, Well does this mean if you lose faith in God it is a sin, or if you lose faith in general it is a sin. Sometimes, it seems that faith is just a belief you give yourself and after a while it is damaged. How do you rebuild it?
Losing faith in God is the sin talked about. It would not be sin to lose faith in others, or circumstances because they are continuely changing. God never changes. The ultimate sin is to lose faith in God. This often happens when we pray asking God to answer a prayer in a certain way and He doesn't. He always answers in the way that is BEST for us, not what we want. The Bible says, "man's ways are not God's ways."
The best way to rebuild faith is in learning to accept God's will for our lives. My prayers seem to start with me asking God to answer the way I want to see things worked out. They end with me coming to the conclusion that God knows best and I need to accept whatever He says, does or even leaves me wondering.
My faith is build by trusting God even when I can't see the answers.
But to that, losing faith in God is the sin, but if you lose faith in general, that would too be sin?
I know this is my struggle, but with that If God gives us our faith, or to lose faith in him, is to be a sin, they why wouldnt be a sin to lose faith in others.
And how do you know God is doing something and not others.
I truly feel bad but I have lost my faith, and at this time i do not know if it is others, myself, or God?
Losing faith in general is had to figure out what you mean. Are you losing faith in God to save you? in God to answer a prayer? Are you talking about the ability to beleif in the things unseen?
It sounds as though you are losing faith in you ability to have faith?
I am going to beleive for you at this time. Sometimes we get in a jam and we need others to carry us.
I do sugest you continue to pray and talk to God about your feelings. He understands and wants to help you through. It also sounds like you might need to talk to a pastor one on one and get some personal answers.
I wish I could get some answers, the only problem is Im holding myself from getting these answers. I will just pray and pray that I can find my faith..
Faith in myself and others.
To find faith in myself, I have to get my self worth from God. By myself, I can't accomplish much. But with Christ all things are possible. Sometimes I just have to have faith that God is allowing me to go through this time to grow my faith. Thrust Him through this time and He will get you through.
Faith in others has to be built. People have to prove to me they are accountable. I always try to give them the benefit of doubt, but if they prove they are not reliable, I have to give them permission to fail again. I do this in smaller portions, and let them build trust.
I am praying with you that God is going to bring you through these times of doubt.
I don't know if it is really faith that we're talking about here. Seems to me that you're bordering on hopelessness or helplessness. Your hope is in God. He is your help. He's the only one who will never leave you or turn his back on you. People will do that. That's because we're not like God. We have free will and we want to take the easy way out. If God leads you to it, He will see you through it. I think it's hard for us sometimes to realize that God is not the one who makes bad things happen in our lives. He never promised that we wouldn't have bad times. Quite the opposite. He tells us that there WILL BE trying times for us, but that he is there to help us get through it. Getting your faith back? This worked for me and may work for you. I only hope you'll at least give it a shot. What do you have to lose? I have been in your frame of mind several times in my life, but the very worst time, the first time I can remember really feeling hopeless, I fell to my knees and told God that I just couldn't do it anymore. I needed help. I know it sounds simplistic, but I just decided then and their that this was not going to beat me. I may be as uncomfortable as heck right now, but I decided to give it to God and do it His way. That's what faith is, not knowing what's on the other side. But knowing for sure that at the end of it and all through the middle of it, I wouldn't be alone. I had someone to talk to about it. This whole "God Thing" is about growing. Growing faith, growing patience, growing in love for your fellow man, growing compassion. And basically, how do you even know where to start if you haven't walked down that road too. Jesus suffered many of the things that we go through. That's when God uses you. When He delivers you, when He brings you to a place of peace, then you might show others the way. You use what God has given to you. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger? You just have to make a decision. You can't jsut stick your toes in the water. You have to JUMP in. Again, I know it sounds just too simple, but it's all that God requires. He wants total surrender. He wants us to have faith! He is our heavenly Father. He loves us. He cares for us. He sends others into your life so that you might see and know Him.

We get caught up in our dialogue sometimes and can't see the obvious. That is what I like about this blog thing, we can get different opinions.
Whatever the circumstances, whaterve ris trying to defeat you, remember, look up. If we are looking up to God and not the circumstance, He will pull us through everything!
